As someone who has been denied medical care that I was entitled to under the terms of an insurance policy that I had been paying on for years, I understand the frustration that has been boiling over after the CEO of one of these vampire cabals was assassinated on a New York street.
Seeing such anger certainly doesn't surprise me – I felt it myself. That makes it difficult for me to tolerate those who are tut-tutting the anger that so many wounded people feel from their perch of moral superiority. I can understand denouncing the murder, but to crook a snoot at people who are justifiably sick of being subjected to outrage – to denial of their basic humanity, even their lives by a clique of millionaires who are beyond the reach of any legal retribution is unsympathetic at least.
Forgive me if I fail to weep for the poor millionaires who indulge their greed at the expense of suffering people. And if I fail to slap the hands of those who drop a bitter joke, or a twisted smile at the thought of greedy parasites receiving some measure of what they have wrought on others, well, murder is bad, whether it is done by a man with a gun, or by a cold, licensed killer in a thousand dollar suit in a carpeted boardroom.

This is part of the reason pretty wife and I are following the example of you, Tom, and Dan. I have three comorbidities and don't care to trust a shaky healthcare system under RFK Jr. Add in the threat to SS and Medicare, we feel we don't have an option that includes staying here.
We're expatriating as soon as we get our finances set up and liquidate a couple of assets.
Panama is where we are headed, I have the best shot at being able to generate an income there as opposed to anywhere else.
Of course you and your wife will have a standing invitation, I hope to someday actually get to swap stories and enjoy a cigar together.
Cheers!
