In the end, the rich stick together, no matter what their stated politics to defend their interests. They are well aware of their class interests, and act to protect their hoards, and their privileges.

The workers do not stick together. They are easily divided against each other due to their increasing economic desperation and the control of the media, from entertainment to news, by the rich.

Until the workers realize that, they will always be dominated by those who divide them.
