I could not agree with you more. I have seen the world in these basic terms most of my life. People are incredibly easy to fool, which makes it so much worse. I used to think my dad was so arrogant, the way he spoke of his amazement at idiocy. Well, then I grew up and worked in TV news. We are suffering the ramifications of decades of political Kayfabe.
